Rav Eliyahu Dessler, Qunterus haChessed (ch. 4-6) – Relationship ep. 21

The Beyond Meaningful Relationships – Relationshipful Meaning series at the kloiz meets on Wednesday nights at 8pm EDT.

If you missed anything or just want to join mid-stream, there are always the posts in The Kloiz Aspaqlaria category, which has recordings of any chaburos you may have missed from earlier meetings!

Wednesday night (August 24th, 2022) the Beyond Meaningful Relationship – Relationshipful Meaning chaburah continued our study of Rav Dessler’s Qunterus haChessed from Mikhtav meiEilyahu vol I.

In this chaburah we learned and discussed chapters 4 through 6 (pp. 35-39), as well as started ch. 7 although we will really cover that next time. In the opening chapters, Rav Dessler established the ideas of the potentials in a person for nesinah and netilah — giving and taking — as attitude and motive. In this week’s chapters we saw how giving, and investing of oneself in another leads to love of that other. Whether the home and business we build, our friends and neighbors, or even the love between the sexes.

Giving leads to love, far more than the other way around.
